Ofna pirate mt sport pro's/con's

It does not have very good suspension, and the differentials strip very easy, I would get a Savage instead.

First of all the diff problems were solved several years ago by Ofna. Second, the Pirate Sport has several upgrades from the original Monster Pirate (I have one). If you get one at ace-hobbies.com for $359 then you have yourself a great RTR truck for $150 less than the MP RTRs used to sell for. Mine has been very durable in the 2 1/2 years I have had it. The suspension can be improved by putting the longer Dominator shocks on all 4 corners (about $70 for 4) and installing the Dominator tall front shock tower ($10). Then put some Dominator rubber on for some fun at the track. The Savage is a good truck but the Hyper .21 will eat the stock Savage engine for dinner.
