Would this be a good boat for running in the Columbia River in Washington? http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCRM2**&P=0
Ive had experience with electric r/c cars and it looks pretty good and its only $100. The river is pretty calm with little waves unless its windy or the wake of a full size boat is coming in. Some others i checked out were these.

Which would be the best pick, thanks.

As long as you don't go out into the main current, they all should work fine. You might want to upgrade from some of the stock stuff to higher performance, as well as the props. Nylon props are notorious for bending and flexing. If I might ask, what part of the river do you live by?
