All around great truck. Just be careful the stock rollbar/handle likes the bend easy. Only if you drive hard like i do. Also seal the engine it will help it idle and start easier. I like my Savage and am currently puttin the XTM sliding clutch and a Adrenaline Tank Guard with the Ofna 9.5 RTR tank. This solves the leaning prob you will encounter. Its a great truck and i think you will enjoy it alot
Edit: Might also want to do the 4 gear mod as it helps save the diff cases cause they are prone to damage, def when u upgarde the motor. Fairly cheap mod and the benfits are great.

for some reason they are attracted to curbs.so my 1st suggestion is to steer clear of any of them!
ive owned a few different trucks and can safely say the savage has been the best one yet (other then the curb thing).a few things i have done to mine have been the reverse module fairly easy upgrade.4.8 mm thick chassis(i bent mine)steering upgrade and servo upgrade.differential upgrades, muffler, air filter, center skidplate, shock springs,on board temp guage, tank guard and im sure im forgetting plenty of other uneeded nonsense.i am extremely rough on the little fella and it just keeps coming back for more and more punishment each time i play.god bless the savage!!!

I have a Savage and love it...I have beaten the crap outta it and have yet to break anything...I also have a Storm Unlimited truck, Very fast, but the storm will break if you look at it wrong, I have only put 2 tanks through it since broken in, nd I am awaiting a front dif repair, and a rear drive shaft...The savage can take WAY more abuse, and it has never failed me at all, and I have had the thing out in the rain every day for the past 2 weeks(I live in a very wet climate), it never misses a beat
Got the motor tuned and twiked Savages are fast!! or mine is. :)

i actually had the savage popping baby wheelies today, but i want enough power to flip it backwards thats why i see a pro 24.7 in the savages future.

what is up with the tires expanding to dble the size
what is up with the tires expanding to dble the sizeBecause thay are so soft and the RPMs are so high. But thay do grip real good a little to good some times.Stock Maxx tires expand but not nire as much.
