Radio battery question.

I have read that NiMH batteries require different chargers than those used for NiCads. Does this mean I canNOT put NiMH batteries into my transmitter and charge then via the charging jack? Will this ruin the batteries or transmitter?

If it's just a trickle charger, then it won't matter. Peak-detection chargers have to be configured properly to know when to stop when NiMH batteries are "done." I'd say go for it with your wall charger, but then again, some people say don't trickle charge NiMH...

I think it only matters with sub-c size batts. I havent heard of anyone having a problem with trickle charging ni-mh radio batts. Prob 'cause they put out so little power like the trickle charger.
