Very nice, you might want to get you some proline bo tie's or holshot tires for your truck, it would hook up a lot better on the track.

I know that truck couldn't go two feet without spinning out. I have a 16x3 Speed Gem Ruby in it. I also it might be geared to high. I am using a 20t pinion with a 96t spur gear. Think I might try a 35t pinion. Thank for the suggestions though.

nice truck! nice track too,... is it your track or a local one that you visit? If summer ever gets here I will be building a track in my yard and I need some ideas.
What does your MT have in it for goodies?

Big Wig It a track at a local park. As for goodies in my truck the only upgrade is bearings and I used Losi 50wt oil in the shocks. The motor is 16x3 and I use a Novak Explorer 2 speed control. The radio and servo gear is all Futaba.

thanks for the reply kojak!
I plan on getting an MT for my wife (and myself too if I can talk her into it http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif ) and I want to get her a reversing ESC at a reasonable price. Does your explorer 2 fall into that category?

Nice truck. Wish I had a track like that to play at.
Big Wig,
I have the new Futaba MC230CR ESC and it seems to run great. Set up was extremely easy. Plus the reverse function can be locked out. Or if what to run a larger range of motors might I suggest the MC330CR. I've had mine for about a month now and has been flawless so far.

Thanks guys,
Maybe the Futaba MC230CR ESC is the answer. I just read the article in RCCA on 20 reversing ESC's so That helped a lot too. I feel I should be able to get something nice for between $50 and $65.
