Can anyone help? I just got some pager motors that I plan to gear 4.2-1 with u-80 or firecracker props, these motors are coreless and I was just reading something from cloud 9 saying that corless motors need special speed controls that have a non pulsating voltage source. I was originally going to use the new castle creations programable pixi controller, will this work or what should I use? I eventually want to use all four of my motors in a b-17 or something with four motors, also planned to use 6-8 cells [probably 6]. Can anyone sugest anything? Thanks.

Hi,

my coreless WES-Technik DC5-2.4 works fine with a JMP HF9 ESC at 133kHz. I said "gulp" at the price at first, but I don't want to fry up my motor.

Mabuchi FF020PN from www.allelectronics.com (http://www.allelectronics.com) might be a cored alternative to your pager motors. They are small, cheap and light (5g), so I got 20 of them, but did not try them yet.
