well, me and my friend have been making things with fiberglass lately, so we thought we would dip out knowledge into some r/c boats. Right now we are making the mold for the fiberglass, its going to be a monohull.

Anyways, we raced electric onroad and have stuff from it, Can we use the 3 channel radio, batts, and motor from it to be put in the boat?

Also, if it does work, we plan to do 2 or 3 motors, each having their own prop and run 12 cells. This would be controlled be a microswitch.

The boat is going to be 32" long, still deciding on width. Also, any idea on how to mount the motors down?

Thanks,
Nate

hey, wait u have a good idea, when we have something worth looking at we will show it! so far its goin along good, im doing the final sanding on the mold. The plan is to do an outside mold and cover it in gel. Then primer the shell and completely sand it smooth. But we found out we have to spend some money, we have to get a shell to see how eeverything fits. so we are picking up a fine designs rc hull for $45.

But after we are done using it, it will be for sale so if ur intersted now, tell me cause we should be done with it by next week!

This thing should tear up the pond! Just one question: 12 cells per motor or 12 cells total?

Are you going to be using car motors?
