I was going to make my own actuators and I heard you can use servo amp boards to controll them. Does anyone know if this will work and how it is done and will it be proportional? I have some spare amp boards from micro servos and want to use them, I'm also want to use my maxx products rx [mx 6800 I think it is. Any help would be great, thanks.

it has been covered in Rcmicroflight at some point. Basically replace the motor with a coil and replace the feedback resister with a smaller fixed/variable resister. It is proportunal but you might not realize it until you get some wind over the contol surface.
