Hello, Does anyone know about the power capacitors for an esc. A 4700 power capacitor available from Novak is to be used with any esc and is supposed to reduce radio noise and smooth out voltage spikes. Is there a good chance the capacitor would reduce glitching? Thanks for your help

The capacitor on the ESC is meant to relieve some of the strain on the Transistors on the ESC. It keeps the voltage drop lower when power is applied to the motor and also gives a little more punch, which may not be noticable in a boat. I personally, have never run one, but other people's opinions may vary. If you are having glitching problems, make sure there is no metal to metal contact anywhere, and check your capacitors on the motor. Brush arcing can also cause glitching. If anyone sees that I left anything off, feel free to add to it.
