New guy needs help

Hi guys & gals
I'm new so bear with me. I am in dire need of one of the old RED Miss Bud MRP boats that was in the June 1997 RC Boat Modeler and was built and raced by Doug Twaits Jr. It is an ABS plastic electric hull boat 1 1/16 scale that MRP was supposed to put out but went belly-up instead. If anyone has one even damaged I can use it. $$$ available and have a new in box Pringles hydo's that I might be willing to part with to help make a deal.
Reason is I just bought a Pro Boat 1 /12 and after reading the HORROR stories I am just going to put it on the shelf to look pretty and stick with electrics.
Somebody must have one laying around

How do you feel about building? There are plans available for most of the hydros through out the last 50+ years. I know most are in the 1/8th scale size range, but they can be scaled up or down to the size you want. If this is a possibility, you can start with www.newtonmarine.com and see if anything looks interesting :) Roger Newton has also started a 1/10 scale electric club, so he may be able to help you out with getting a boat, motor and ESC. Drop him a note and see what happens. It may take a while to get a reply as he is the crewchief on the full size U-25 :D

Oh man, I wish you had sent this a month earlier. I cleaned out my garage & tossed my old MRP Miss Bud. I may still have some of the insides if you're interested.
