I made my own & sharpened them. You can see pics of my V-hull in the nitro forum. Check the nitro hull & the full throttle sections I think. I made mine out of 3/4" aluminum 'L' channel & removed the 'L' part below the water line. I angled them on the transom so that they were vertical when the hull was leaning into a curve. Too much of an angle either way & you either won't get enough bite or too much bite when turning. This 'L' channel is only a couple bucks for 3 feet of it & I got it at the local hardware store. I made mine so that they barely touch when running straight & only one will dip into the water when turning. Experiment.

Here's a quick pic of what mine look like. I shortened them a little from the old pics because when turning I was still dragging both turn fins as it bounced through the turn & it wasn't turning all that great. Mine hang down about 1-1/2".

Here, scroll down thisa page to the purple turn fins, they are perfect for a boat your size, mount them perpendicular to your bottom, near the edges.

you can also use some 1/16 aluminum sheet and cut it to fit. just be sure to make sure you sharpen them.

Get a sheet of aluminuum size .064 for $4.00 and make in a teardrop shape and place fin at a 90 deg. to bottom of hull and at least 2 1/2" long and a 45 deg. angle from transom. When sharpening turn fin, sharpen only the outside away from boat. That way it will not splash on equipment to cause drag and that is what were after , less drag. If you have fins directly down, you will have consent drag irregardless how sharp the fin is!

Forgot, sharpen the strakes which will also aid in turning alot. Monos slide anyway in turn. Most monos made in usa are not very sharp like the European boats, so you have to work on them to make your boat work like true rc boats ought to work!
