I recently bought a penta reciever and the Neiuport 11 to go with it. But the first time I fired it up I had horrible glitching, the motor would go to full throtle and stay there. When I was reading one of my microflight issues about the penta. The guy who wrote the article Matt Keennon said it had great performance even with other radios around. He said you have to have 24 inches of antenna. When I measured the antenna that came with the reciever it meassured only 10 inches. So I put on a longer antenna that I got from Bob Selman. But I still had bad glitching so the next thing I did was I swapped out the crystal that came with it for a regular GWS crystal, and left the crystal standing upright instead of bending it to lie flush with the reciever as the last crystal had been. After making those mods there was Zero glitching and the range check was incredible :D. So if you do get a penta I highly suggest making those two mods and you will have a great reciever.

Messerschmitt,

I got my Microinvent Nieuport 11 together with a PENTA receiver from Stefan Gasparin some weeks ago. Could you please tell me how to solder the MCA3-D actuator/serco to the receiver (pics and/or drawing?), because I'm new to that Micro-RC-equipment and cannot find any hint concerning that point neither on Gasparin's nor on Microinvent's website.

Thank you very much in advance!

There should be a diagram with the Penta. Both the positive and negetive sources for all servos share on one pad. The signal sources for each servo are labeled on the diagram and they are the 5 pads on the other side of the board.
