hEY, i may want to get into on road fun with a TC3 Chevy Silverado or Chrysler 300M. Here is what I am thinking for a #325 price limit
TC3 Racer 154.99
Hitec Shredder reciever 31.99
Reedy Rage motor 26.99
Pinion 4.99
Novak Explorer 49.99
PowerPole co0nnectors 13.99
Misc. 10-25
Thease are prices at Tower hobbies. Anything I should change? aby places less expensive? I already have radio's, batts, and charger, so please help!

Sounds good to me. As long as your not trying to race with the pros right away, you won't miss the extras of the upgraded TC3's for awhile, & the rest should make the car plenty fast enough to have fun with. I think you'll like it(I know I love mine).... http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

Only problem I see is that the Explorer esc may be too large to fit in the TC3 chassis. At least if it is the one I'm thinking of. I have the Novak Tempest Max, and it is a tight squeeze and I think the Explorer is a little larger. Other than that, your setup looks great.

Great choice of bodies, bro! Those are the ones I would choose, too. Anyway, your list is good, but I would personally go for a better (but still Novak) speed control.

I would go with a P2K instead of a rage, but that is just me

First of all, look through your latest car action mag and find all the lowest prices (for example, 1 place may sell the car for 150 while another place has the esc for 40) Order it all from Stormer Hobbies; if you call them and ask to have them match a price in the mag, they will do it.

Now for some constructive criticism. Go for the Chrysler body. Change the motor to a P2k. Do you have a receiver you can borrow from another car? If you can, spend that money w/ the money for the ESC and get something better like a dually, or even a Novak atom.If not, at least get an extra set of tires, like yokomo hot laps. You will find that the kit tires dont last too long. These are just some ideas to think about.

No matter what you do, the TC3 is gonna be a car you love. it handles really good and is easy to drive. Have fun!

Well, how hard do you think it would be to switch out my only GOOD reciever from my Rustler to it? I have an old Futaba 2NL Attack with a Futaba G plug and I have 2 servo's with it. Do you think that would bea good idea or just switch out the one in my Rustler?

Will the Duster 2 fit into the ESC holder area? I looked at it and I think its cool. It comes with brake lights also! Well, I hope it will. Please tell me
