Where do you people run ur boats?

both of the lakes which i run on are 1-3 hours away

That really stinks. I don't live near there, so I can't give you much advice, but the lakes I run on are a 10 minute walk away (small one good for testing) or 20 min. drive (HUGE lake, great for running). I feel sorry for ya :(

hah! You guyz are lucky. I live in florida and alligators are in every lake here. Always a chance it will get mauled by a alligator. Most the time they will just try to stay away though. But theres always that little chance.

So run in the ocean. It is pretty calm there.

*Some lakes are not connected to the everglades however there still might be some in there. Im still lucky though cause its a 1 min walk to a *Ok* lake and a *really good lake* 5 mins walk from my house. Im going to try my new boat in the really good lake tomarrow morning. Its not that fast but still fun :)
Also theres a fountain there so it makes for a good race track :)
