Need Quick Response: Comparison

Could anyone take a look at this boat and let me know if it could run with my stock Turbo V. I took the family out last night for a few test runs. The wife tried it and said that it would be fun to have 2 boats, but don't spend a lot. This closes at about 11:15am PST. Just wondering if you guys could give some feedback to see if it is worth placing a bid on.

Doesn't look too bad (for the price ;) ) but watch out for the shipping. You might get dinged there. If this isn't an option you could look for a zig zag. They are great. Had mine for 3 days and was running it in my neighbors pool. He fell in love with it and offered me almost twice what I paid. He thought it was fair and so now I'm in the market for a new one. I doubt you'd be dissapointed.

How fast are they? Hmmmmm. How can I put this? F.A.S.T!!!!! :D I don't know for sure as I never checked it with radar but for their size they move like stink!

Add in the 7 cell pack and HOLY COW do they go. Way too fast for the pool at that speed. You can't even gert up to full speed before you're at the other end. Actually launched it out the pool a number of times when it hit a reflected wave off the side. Pretty cool. Got mine for $70 US (before shipping and exchange mind you). I'd get another one but considering that I presently have 4, yes 4 boats in differing stages f build, 3 planes, a truck, an airboat being built and an ice racer being built I have been threatened with having the garage "cleaned" out while I'm at work if I bring home ANYTHING else RC related before I finish what I have started. Needless to say my wife better not come and see my desk at work. ;) ;)

I "think" fast electrics have a whole mess of hop-ups for the zig zag too. I've even seen a video of one running an 8 cell pack on a brushless setup. Absolutely insane speed.

I don't know if you are the winner or not but somebody got a deal on it! Throw away the boat, keep the radio system and you'd still be bucks ahead!
