That seems a little too rich if you ask me....try 2 3/4 - 3 turns

mine got to where it'd run ok on the ignitor, but didn't want to run off it. i changed the plug, and it got a little better. it then ran ok, until about half speed. then it's sputter. but not all the time. at the suggestion of my buddy, i pulled the engine to seal the backplate and carb. my fuel line was good. when i had it apart, i inspected my engine, and just like my buddy had happen to him, the one way has been rubbing on the connecting rod, and both have some wear. i'm getting ready to send it back to xtm for warranty work.

Your lsn is too rich and is the reason it won't stay running after you remove the ignitor. Lean it down a wee bit and it will stay running. Also what plug are you running in it? I've got the mach which is the twin to the 24.7pro and I run an os a5 with good results. Did you check your hsn at the fuel inlet to make sure that it didn't come loose? Another thing is to make sure that your fuel tank lid is sealing and not loosing pressure which will cause it to sputter when you try to open up the throttle.
