Just wanted to let everyone know that the LST is holding up awesome. I went to the track today and put it through its toughness test. After about 1 hour nothing broke. So far the only thing I had to replace was the foward/reverse servo saver. It seemed to let loose a bit. The truck hooks up extremely well and jumps like a dream. The body is taking a bit of a bashing and is starting to crack at the rear where there isnt any support. I just have to learn not to land on its tail. :p Temps never went above 220f and when beating the heck outta it and it seems to run forever. One thing people who buy the truck must keep an eye on the the tires. All four of mine came unglued but I think that is to due with the chrome finish and glue not bonding well. I seen pieces of chrome stuck to the tire where it was glued.

Here are a couple pics of the transmission in case anyone wanted to see how beefy it is.

You say beefy...I say heavy...

What's theover/under on how long it will take Losi to launch a lightweight single range forward only tranny for this beast....1 month? 2 months???

You say heavy, I say BS.

When they launch the forward only kit, it will be to satisfy racer demand, not to shave a few ounces. The carbon fiber deckplates will do that.

I agree with you, I wouldnt mind having a foward only, no low gear option to simplify things but weight isnt my concern right now. I mean the truck rips as is. I do enjoy reverse though. So many times at the track I was pinned against the wall and had to backup. That right there is the reason I like the reverse feature. I cant wait to see some of the hop ups that are coming soon. Someone already got some reinforced side rails from losi.
