Yep, you read right. Hot Bodies is putting Twin .26's in Savages and selling them. Here (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXHKC6&P=ML) is the link to Tower. $660 is cheaper than the Titan Twin...and I would say better made as well.
Post your opinions. :)

Looks awesome... but they better beef up that whole thing to keep that power to the ground... Otherwise, it looks like a powerhouse.

It is listed under conversion kits, and the Twin .26 has always, that I have seen been listed as a conversion kit. I dont think this is the whole truck, but I could very well be wrong. Either way, its going to cost a lot.

I think for $660 it damn sure better include a truck...I figure they will probably just put them on the savage...and then sell them as a converted truck...
I would hope for $660 you would get a little more than a conversion...

Yah I would sure hope so... Any way sounds sweet, as long as its not just 660$ for a conversion kit :p

old news for me...
dont you guys read RCCA?
Definitely old news. :D
Also a total waste of good money IMO. There is not truck included so you'll have paid about $350 to $400 then add another $700 to that to add another engine?! I don't think so...
I would rather spend about $325 on a new .28 Novarossi engine which would outrun this twin engine pig all day long or buy the new Kyosho twin engine truck and have about $400 left over. I think they'll sell two of these, or maybe three. There might be three idiots left in the world that will think this is a good investment. ;)

its not gonna cost 600.....remember how when the savage was comming out when they had it on the site but stock status..with the date...and it was around 600 also? The kit will probably be around 300-400

Holy crap, this "news" has been out for months. Hot Bodies stuff is complete crap, including that POS truckzilla that was supposed to take the RC world by storm. There are only a few people who have ANYTHING good to say about it. I wouldnt pay $660 for that even if it came with a truck. I am a huge Savage fan, lover and owner. I think its by far the best RC truck made, but anything Hot Bodies in my experience is complete CRAP.

Two engines are always cool!
Truck cost= $320 (ss)
Conversion for two motors= $650
I can not make sense out of it? One more engine cost you twice of what the original truck cost?
They must have got the price idea from Ofna. Their twin pirate thing is $1000, right?

The Ofna Titan Twin is $700 most places.
For $600, someone could buy a New Era Twin convrsion kit ($250), which is a lot better quality that Hot Bodies, and 2 Ofna Picco .26 engines, and they probably have more power than the HB .26's.

This one isn't old news. The original Truckzilla didn't come with two .26 engines. From the pictures on the HB site, it looks like they slapped in a pair of Force .26s and some shiny side pipes. Big whoop. I definitely agree with you about putting a larger, better engine in it instead for far less cash and even more so the pig comment. That's nicer than I would have said. I don't understand the marketing. You'd think that they'd know that those with more experience would laugh at the new "offering," while newbies would be more attracted to it due to having dual engines. That's a lot for a newbie to bite into; tuning one takes enough learning as is, much less all that power being sent to stock dogbones and differentials. Apparently they must be aiming this towards newbies with tons of cash.
This is the really laughable part:
Equipment Needed:
Savage .21 truck with servos, radio and receiver
Hello? The .21 is no longer being made. Again, you'd think that they would know better, considering that HB is owned by the same guy who owns HPI (so I have been told by someone of some authority at HPI).
