hello everyone. i work at the lhs and i got my self a used zig zag hull to make insanely fast. im gonna order some props off of www.offshoreelectrics.com, an di was going to use a speed 400 and about 8 2/3a cells, but i was wondering how to connect the motor to the shaft without using that stupid rubber connector. any other ideas to make this thing fly without putting wings on it?? if anyone has any pics of thier hopped up zig zag racers drop me an email at andy_024_p@hotmail.com
thanks for any info

You have the right idea with OE. They have probably the best info on hopping up a ZZR that I know of. How much $$$ do you have? I saw one that was crazily modded with a Lehner in it, and it would go crazy (it would always flip from the speed before he could get it to WOT), but I don't know if you would have the funds.

i have most of the stuff already, i was just wondering what kind of stuff everyone else has on thier zzr's. i dont have the kind of money to spend on a lehrner, and i wouldn't for such a small boat, since i have the big ones. If you have any more info or pics post em.

I picked up one of these ZZR's on Friday to use as a retrieve boat. It does the job but I'm going to need some practice, kind of like backing in a trailer. I might have to put a tea-cup hook on the back so that I can run a line and float of some kind off the back to do the circle and snag trick. One of those balls in the kit should do it.

I run a bobber behind my boat about 6 feet away and do a few circles around my disabled boat.
