I just wanted to know your opinion on the LST...And for the people who have a LST do u think it was well worth the money?
thx

I think it was very much worth it.
I make that statement even though I would have much rather preferred a kit. If it was available in kit form, I would have chosen the TOP 528 engine, Hitec servos (I've added those anyway) and I already had an XS3 radio.
Besides the Mini-T this is my first RTR, ever. I kinda feel in the dark about it's mechanics because I didn't stare at the parts while assembling them. That is my only gripe with the LST.
I would buy it all over again, and I may. It will make the perfect Christmas present for my little brother.

Very much worth the money, fun and fast. You get a lot for a little in my opinion.

it's a good truck if you're one of the guys that likes stuff that's already been put to the test. the lst uses ***basically*** the same design as the t-maxx, mgt, and savage (not as much so cuz of the tvp's). the revo is better for the people that like stuff that's totally new and revolutionary

I guess if you want something new and unprovein, that couldn't keep up with my LST at my Wed night race, then buy a revo yes. If you want a big, bad, big block truck, the LST is it.

You know NitroX is right, it is the same as a tmaxx. How could I have not seen it before. I mean its got an engine, a 2 speed tranny with reverse, tires, shocks, it's even remote control. WOW it is the same, and all this time I thought I was buying something different with no new revolutionary stuff. How could I have been so stupid, only traxxas creates new revolutionary things, definitely not a racing company like team losi.
This is by far the best RTR offered in the car/truck rc market. Radio, motor, truck features, starter system. Even adjustable body mount post. Mine is being broken in as I write this.

i think its understatement, if i can say so, almost every truck takes something from older ones, like T-maxx takes from USA 1 and QRC trucks, savage takes from mad force ( like TVP), and so on!! so i think that one think thats really innovative in revo is its chasis plate, and only difference is that its bent, and good thing puts everything closer to the centerline

Another Traxxas Groupy, Have you seen the truck? So when does a Maxx/Revo have a high/low range selectable transmission, big arse tires, a USEABLE slipper that doesnt melt down and a awesome chassis to hold all the goodies in place and not have the .26 break it to pieces. You cant say it basically is the same as another truck just because it has four tires and normal layout shocks. Traxxas has a nice looking truck but basically ADA told you the new features and its pretty much just a new chassis/shock layout.

Ohh I forgot to mention. I love my LST. I beat the heck outta it on the track last week and just tweaked a servo saver. The body could be a bit thicker or perhaps some reinforcements on it but other then that it friggin rocks. A huge step up from my Thunder Quake and the Maxx's at the track that cant stay together.

For now LSTs are a little unfair to be comparing with Revos on a track(.26 v .15) until some1 puts a p2 in a Revo. Anywho the huge fat shocks looks awsome on the LST and prob make for some great suspension but the Revo has some extreme articulation which looks as if nothing could stand in its way. Ppl need to do some real hard core bashing(coughslapmafrocoughtrilordycough) with the 2 trucks to really be able to tell which is better.

*add sarcasm*
Oh yeah, the LST is a tmaxx twin. Yup. Uh-huh. Sure.
*Take away sarcasm*
The LST looks very promising. Once I get the money it's as good as mine. :)

Its not unfair to compare them. The LST is much bigger and weighs a lot more so the difference in engine size is negated. LST having much larger tires also puts it at somewhat of a dis-advantage (inherant to big tires) yet they still designed it to handle great to overcome the bigger tires.

I've had mine for almost 2 weeks now and it just keeps getting better. I took it out to the High school parking lot behind my house tonight and beat it for 4 tanks without shutting it off. I flipped it few times and bashed it into some curbs and it just kept going. If you hit the 5 or 6 inch curbs at an angle the tires don't even come off the ground. The most air I could get was about 6 inches over a speed bump at full throttle. No matter how square I hit the bump it landed smooth on all fours. I did manage to take some rubber off the tires since I was being so aggressive and spent most of my time on the asphalt. All in all I love the way the truck drives and handles.
