Get ready to bust out a file, rasp, or Dremel to bevel the edges of the engine mounts and to possibly widen the area between the mounts by removing material. I cannot comment on the RB, but in order to install a Novarossi .28 in a Savage, I had to remove about 1-2mm of material from the inside side of the mounts.

I would suggest asking people who explored other motor mounts. Doesn't Nova make a mount for the Savage too?

ATM is good for info, make sure to listen to him. If you can't find another engine mount, do what he says.

EDIT: Yep, here's a link to the Nova mount. I would suggest this...

Mount the Stock .21 or .25, .26, .27 or the New RB TM728 with no modification needed! (so put away that dremmel).

hehe....
