Here are a couple screen shots of the Schulze U-Force U-Soft programming software. If the pictures remind you of good'ol DOS its because the program is dos based. I was kind of disappointed with this at first being pretty much everything else written thesedays is Windows based. Then I thought about it somemore and decided it wasn't too bad. Being that it is dos based I can take an ancient 386 or 486 laptop to the RC track and not fear leaving my good laptop in the pits when I'm off driving. I can also carry a copy of it on a floppy disk and use a hobby stores computer to do programming if I need. The program does work fine under Windows though, you don't have to boot to dos to use it.

I did not see a brushless curent limiter, does it have it?

The current limiter for brushless is fixed at 100 amps for the U-Force 75
Thanks Steve for the screengrab !

The software and programming cable was 65.00 Cdn - or about 50.00 USD.
So far it appears to be worth it. I have two U-Force 75s and changing the minimum drive, and the soft start throttle/brake is interesting. Its also interesting trying out the drag brakes. I've never been a fan of them and have always found them useless but the free coast of a brushless motor is very different then a brushed motor. Especially motors with the smaller rotor such as the Hacker c40 series. They just seem to coast forever compared to a brushed motor, which means you don't get the natural braking action before a corner that you do from a brushed motor. Setting a small amount of drag brakes(around 10%) can make cornering easier.
