I want to convert my emaxx to BL soon and i am looking for something that can allow me to run w/ modified t-maxxs and have the ability to allow quick battery changes or be able to run a 20 min main. I already run dual 7 cell packs and only have alum chassis brace and skid plate and rest is lightweight RPM stuff. I was looking into aveox since they are in the US but cannot seem to get a hold of sales. What would be a good cell/esc/motor combo for this kind of setup?

I would suggest a Hacker C50 maxx, or Lehner XL3100/3600. Go with the Schulze Future 18.97KWF for reliability in high current demands. Gearing should be between 14-18T on the pinion(66T spur) depending on track size and traction available. 12-14 cells in series will allow you to be ahead of the nitro guys(assumign your driving capabilities are up to par). Simple reliable setup, but it's going to be costly.(As most hobbies are anyway).
I am just setting up a Lehner XL3600 and 18.97KWF as of this week. Very excited to see how it performs. My suggestions are based on weeks and weeks of research with other forums, and mostly previous experiences.

I will be testing with Tanic 6200mah lipoly packs for a system that can run 20 minutes straight without the battery changes. If you have a fairly light truck, a Feigao 540-12S should be very competitive and easy on the current draw. Higher capacity packs may be an option as well if a little more height can be afforded.

Nah my truck is not that light. I am going to use gorilla max velcro straps so i can do quick batt. changes in the pit for the 15-30 min mains. But i need good punch to clear the big double we have.

If you only have alum chassis braces, its gotta be light.

How about changing to a Li-po setup for decreased weight and better runtimes. Any suggestions on that.

Maybe Hingepin will post more on this.
I let him use 2 of my TP8000-2S4P Li-Pos in series in his E-Maxx with the stock pair of titan motors and stock ESC. He ran a 20 minute main with no problem and had another 10 minutes to spare. He also warmed up with a few practice laps before the race.
Maybe Nick (Hingepin) will correct anything here that I have posted wrong about his E-Maxx. He did post on some other threads about using my batteries in a 20 minute T-Maxx race, I just can't remember where.
Good Luck!
