Up-grading my BL?

Hi,I got the 5800 in my pede..half the time Its not working so mayby this is part of it but,I think I want a faster BL system already. BUT,I dont any money yet. If I were to sell the Novak,what would be the next step up that will be faster,but not bad effects. I hear about cogging,and all this crap. I want a system thats gonna last,but be fast as he**. Novak is pretty fast in the Pede already,but I think I want more. :mad:

Why isn't the Novak always working? Is the ESC thermaling? If thats the case adding a small fan directly ontop of the speed control heatsink will work wonders.

If you want to go faster it costs money, quite often a lot more then the Novak. If anything I'd work on keeping your Novak cool so it runs properly(if thats the problem) and then try running 7 cells.

Now if money is no issue, we can have you flying.....

Well maybe if I was you, I would wait for the castile creation brushless esc--Mambo 80. It is suppose to be cheap in price but you never know. I would look on ebay and the forums-ultimatrc.com, ect, for a good combo. Look for a combo that fits you price and I would post it here to see what these guy's think.

Yes, Castle Creations is working on a 1/10 scale version of the mamba system so I've heard. Should be relatively cheap as a combo. If it's the same price as my novak, I may sell mine too! :D

My BL works fine,I mean the truck is apart now is seems like because,I either broke something,or waiting to get money for new parts. Nothin wrong with the actual BL itself. I gotta get a new chassis,casterblocks,turnbucjles,batts,and little stuff. Im going all out this time. Cold Fusion chassis,aluminum casters,no stock.
