RC Maintenance?

Hi,


I have a Team losi xxx-t sport rtr and I got it in August of 2003 and I have probably used it 25-30 times. I havent done maintenance on it except check the diff once. What other maintenance should I be doing? P.S I'm only 12.

you should clean it of course, best to do after running until there isnt lot of dust, also you should check bearings from time to time ( its not that frequent) if they roll free

Check to see if the suspension is binding and rebuild the shocks. Also rebuild the motor.

Shock rebuilds are always good, I rebuild mine before I race. (usually the diffs too, but you probably don't need to do that unless they need it)

what does it mean to rebuild like clean it?

When you rebuild something you look for warn parts and give everything a good cleaning and you also need to reloob the parts that need it. Look through the Losi manual and you should have no problems when it comes time to rebuild the different parts of your truck

Take the motor to your lhs and ask for a comm cut and brush cut.
