The Nitro 101 article on page two is a great primer.

Hey, glad your here, and about a buggy i think it will be a tough one, now most of cars are either RTR or ARR (almost ready to run) there are two things you can do, most PRO kits are kits not RTR's (with some exceptions), like mugen MBX-5, kyosho inferno ( apart from rtr and sports) OFNA hyper 7 pro, and ofna 9,5 pro and some cheper buggies, like the one that i have, its not completely kit, but its partially put together OFNA MBX R2 ( but if you can afford the better ones go for them) i think all buggies ive posted (two ofnas mugen and kyosho) are very well made, competitive, and with much practice time, theyll give alot of time of troublefree fun!! i know youll enjoy the hobby, its great!

thanks guys and i appreciate your knowledge about these cars and i will look into that one site for nitro cars!

hey ada$....these are the top 3 cars that i have been looking at since i already have experience from my old electric ones from ground up. i would enjoy and learn better on the process of building from the kit versions which i always agreed on.

i do have some questions about the inferno kanai III. some pro shop in Wolcott CT (he is a great guy and very knowlegable about R/C) told me the difference about the kanai III and the kanai II. he says the II version is alot better than the version III cuz of their rear shock towers. the version III is longer and makes it bounce alot more than version II. and also says that alot of the pros are jumping from vIII to vII cuz of the shock travel in the rears.

obtw...i dunno if this is true or not about the inferno kanai series and they are coming out with a new version? if so then i may want to look into that when it comes out!

Dude...Get The XB8...that buggy's gonna be a killer. If your looking at a Kanai you can afford the XRAY. I don't have a buggy yet, but after seeing a T1FK car, the XRAY boys got it going on. I'm sure that buggy's gonna rock.
