I think (really not sure) that Mr. Constructor once said in an old post that the Twist motor series needed some special tools for maintenance.
For them having a Twist motor, have you tried to open it :confused:
Because one day or later, the bearings will wear and need replacement.

the endbell of the motor (seen from the end) is a threated one, so you have to VERY carefully ditch the motor in a holding clamp and then might try o open it, but for what ?? my motor is still the same than new one, the endbell bearing is protected by a Kontronik label sticker, and the other bearing is protected in the tranny itself, so there is no need to replace it !
IF you really wanna do that, contact your dealer, or send it in to kontronik, they will be much better in handling this without damaging the motor and it will cost you only a few bucks !!!
Ask Mike at kontronik for handling or help !!
