If you are looking for the cheapest ( and best service for that matter) starluck is the ticket. I have bought from 4 of the 6 listed.

I wish there was a place with a huge list of places to buy brushless, but so far starluckrc has had the lowest prices that i have seen. Hopefully tower will start stocking more kontronik car stuff...that'd be nice!:D

^^ heh, I once made a site kinda like that...
had a list of all the manufactures and other brushless websites, with a page w/ pictures and vids of everyone's rigs.
it was www.brushless.owns.it but it's down now, maybe you remember it?
anyways, maybe we should ask Popop to see if he wants to add a distributer page to go along with his manufacture page.

That'd be a good idea. He seems to be quite knowledgable about the brushless stuff, as well as the graupner stuff!

Hi all

I'm obviously badly located to comment US distributors ... so I only have basic recomendations :
- MOTORS can be purchased from various brands and don't require so much guaranty. Remember that's now quite easy to succeed in B/L motor design and mfg

- ESCS are less easy to buy : If possible, stay in the Schulze/LMT/Kontronik lines and only buy from a serious distributor (end-users feedbacks)

I don't know if those geman shops can deal with overseas people but Hollein and Guindeuil surely are good spots

LMT warrior controllers! I thought they were extinct! :D

BK makes the controllers. LMT sold that out to them a long time ago.
The Warrior has finicky startup, and the Micro series is very expensive but smooth. Service seems to be the biggest pain. I had my controller disappear for months just for an update.

BK is a reputable place as well
Hollein seems pretty large when we consider what they did for the last Dortmund trade

Here's the HOELLEIN compressed PDF catalog :
http://www.hoellein.de/websites_neu/katalog_pdf/e0403_komplett.zip

I don't find their html pages for now ... They should still have those enormous PLetts for less ... Fortunately I can't order from them easily ... My house would have been a Plett hangar !!
