Ok,

Got a hold of a Yokomo SSG, now I need to get an affordable motor. I checked out StarluckRC, and saw the Friegao 380 6t. I want a hot motor because I'm going to be running 6 cells for racing, but would also like to play around w/ 7 cells or 11.1v lipos. Is this a good choice?

Thanks ahead of time,
havy

Out of curiosity, how does this motor stand up tho the 1920 (400 size right?) Lehner motors?

The 1920 is a "540" size. The 1525 would more closely match the 380-xxS.
If you want a motor comparable to the 1920, go with a 540-xxS....probably the 7 turn for your application.

Thanks Jamie, I got lazy to check back to the Lehner posts.

Thanks for your reply to the email. I'm wodering about the 8t, was the MPH you stated on 6 cells? i will be running in a 10t mod sedan class.

The 11.1v lipo is a later goal but mainly want good speed at 6 cell 7.2v for the sedan class.

Thanks,
