Hello Jamie,

Sorry, had to get your attention. I decided the 540 7t would be the best fit for the car.

How do I go about ordering from you guys?

Thanks

:D Got the motor, thanks. A+ for Starluck in the CS and fast shipping deptments :p

I'm putting together a Yokomo SD black. I will be sticking to GP's for now, run 6 cell touring car limit.

I'm wondering what kind of amps this thing is going to pull???

Hoping that 80amp cont. that Castle Creations is going to release will hold it, since that is my controler comp of preference, I'll be waiting for it

Mtroniks new controller will be 80a, but will be fairly large but flat.

The CC controller should be fine when it's released. They actually have several motors from me to test with as well as having me on board as a beta tester.

Enjoy the motor!

Hey there,

I know it's not on your site, but do you guys carry or plan on carrying any 21tooth Mod1 pinions?

Keep up the good work!

Starluck,

Do you know what will be the new CC controller specs ? 80 Amp nominal rating ? Number of cell max ? BEC good to how many celll ? Lipo compatible I hope ?

Tks

I can comment on the lesser known Mtroniks controller.
80A, 24V, low voltage shutoff for lipo, and a purpose built case. also I have heard (not from the company) that it will be water proof.

I can't comment much at this time. Look for the specs to be very similar to their current 80 amp controllers. It will definitely have lvc as well as USB programming capability.

How much longer before you get the Schulze Controllers Jamie? I want my name on one of the U-Force 75. Let me know if I need to do anything to reserve one. I bought that motor from you and I prefer buying the controller also. Since you are going to carry the controllers now are you going to stock the little gold connectors that connect everything together?

I thought CC was coming out with a motor/controller combo as well, similar to their mamba, but just bigger?

I have a question about your motors, how can I tell what will work best for me? I am looking into brushless simply because of the better motor type, not really too concerned with running my truck at 50+mph. I was wondering what kind of bushless motor on 6 cells would roughly be equal to a mod motor? Any suggestions on a reliable controller?

Thanks

Prob will be a combo. But if I know Shawn and the CC crew, I'm sure he'll be testing the controller w/ as many motors as possible for compatability issues. I know he tested just about every combo of cells and motors before he sent out the Mama betas for me and others to test.

I'm still running my beta on my micro :D , never bothered to get the updated version, this thing runs too good to live w/o :p

Ah....nice.. That seems to be my target when I upgrade from the novak. I'm almost 80% sure that I'll get the CC combo (less issues with compatibility, etc.) because the lehner stuff from BK, although cheap, will kill me in shipping.:(

Edit: Found out bout the vortex, not comin to the U.S. Orion says they're working on a more powerful system or at least motor for us i guess:D

Sorry...didn't forget you. The pinions are produced in 20 and 22 tooth, not 21. I should have the 20 tooth in a few weeks. Don't know too many people that would need any higher than that unless it's dual L or XL cans.

For motor selection concerns, feel free to send me an email as it's hard to keep up with all the forum questions. I prefer a more personal approach to insure you are happy.

The U-Force 75 controllers did not ship before Schulze closed for summer holiday, so they are still about 3 weeks out. I will have a limited number of 18.97wk controllers in next week. If you weren't on the list, you'll probably have to wait on the next batch.

Regards,

Jamie

The Mod1 22tooth pinions aren't on your site. If I want to purchase a few, should I e-mail you? I don't suppose you have a DXF of the gear? I need one for mock-up until I can get the gear...

Thanks dude!

I have the Mod 1 pitch gears with the 5mm bore in 15 and 16 tooth, but I have not had a chance to test them yet. They are made from M2 tooled steel and then hardened to a rockwell 62. These are tough gears, but I want to test them to make sure! They have a 4mm set screw also.

I don't currently stock the 20 or 22 tooth. 20 is the largest that will fit the E-Maxx without mods, so there hasn't been much demand. Shoot me an email if you want to talk about special orders, and I can point you to a file of the drawing.

Looks like BK/Lehner is on board as well!

Jamie have you heard anything on the u-force controllers as far as time frame? I cant hardly wait anymore. Are they still on their break?

I was told that a shipment is expected next week. I've got a lot of testing waiting on this controller.

You're carrying lehner/bk stuff soon too? THAT would be cool. :D

Yep.......looks like my pricing will be even better since I can deal direct. I plan to stock the U-Force for 1/10 and a selection of BK controllers for the big trucks/buggies. I can special order almost anything as well.
