I am going to my second race this upcoming weekend and I just cant wait its supposed to be in the 80 or so and it isnt supposed to rain. Hopefully the forcast will follow through. Ive already went to 2 before but both times they got rained out. The two times i wasnt able to go they had them then July 3rd i was able to go to my first race. I got 3rd in both my classes. Open Monster Truck and 1/10th scale sportsman stadium gas truck. so hopefully I will do better than that this weekend. Since the last race I had traded my Stadium truck for an RC10GT(i used to have a Tower Hobbies ST-15 w/epic 18.) Kept the .18 for the RC10GT was a roller. So hopefully I will be alot better with the GT. But I messed up the flywheel somehow so I wont have it ready by this weekend so I am only gonna be racing in the monster truck class. And since the last race I modded the Savage 25 a bit. Chubby cooling head, Heatsink alluminum engine mounts, HPI ribbed tuned pipe, and did the diff mods so hopefully it will help make my savage better than the last race and maybe pull off a second or first place victory. But wish me good luck for this upcoming race and I will tell you all what I get whenever I get home from the race. ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM :p

well the race today didnt turn out as planned. Instead of getting 1st or 2nd i dropped outa both qualifiers due to a stupid servo horn. It was weird though because with the high torque servo the servo horn was doing fine when i was at home. but i got like afew laps into the first race and all the sudden i lost steering control but my throttle was working fine. closer examination revealed that the servo was fine it was the servo horn was stripped out on the inside. so i took it into the shop and they gave me a new servo arm. so i was set. then not but about 1/2 way through the first lap. steering was lost again but i could still give it power to go forward. The savage came stock with a servo save but it was too loose to fit onto the new hightorque servo. but i think i am gonna need to find one that fits because i dont wanna keep spending money on servo horns if they are just gonna strip out on me. If anyone has any suggustions please feel free to post. I gotta figure out somethin before september 11th(thats when the next race in King, NC is). but by then I will have me RC10GT up and running also. But thanks for everything and run um hard.

Get an aluminum servo horn that is made for your servo. that will keep it from stripping out on you.
