I just saw this system at towwer and it has settings for cars. I currently own the novakk 5800 but I want something with a little more power. Does anyone know anything about these motors ie. Reliability, power, battery consumption? Any help would be greatly appreciated. here is the link.

I've never had any luck with those speed controllers. You need a programming cable for it, and I'm not sure they have even produced it. They make a specific car version that would be a better choice. That's an aircraft setup with the low of a kv and the gearbox anyway. For that price, you could get a killer car setup.

A killer setup for 350? what kind are you thinking of? Because it was my understanding that the shultz and other high end bl motors would be around 500 total.
Same here. I fried my Kontronik controller Jazz 55/6/18 within seconds.
When I called them, I was disappointed to hear that in fact, even though the Jazz has a car mode, they never really tried it in depth, especially with other motor than their own brand.
Anyway, the combo you choosed is in no way a car combo:
1- Jazz 40/6/18 meaning 40 Amp is not enough. Heck even the 55 Amp is borderline !
2- As Starluck said, the grey thing at the end of the motor is a gearbox with planetary gear... not suited for car !
Anywway, I heard the Kontronik motor are nice, but for their esc line in a car, I would say : NO !
BTW, Starluck, Kontronik never released the PC link, as a matter of fact, I looked everywhere for it to no end. Only did I found out when I called them that it was never released and that they have no ETA for it. Kind of disappointing when you know that they advertised everywhere that the Jazz is fully programmable and that there is a PC link... ( off the very last Kontronik commercial brochure )
Anyway, sorry to badmouth them because their stuff seems to be top notch on paper. Maybe for plane, but for cars, it's not a good choice.

I was being nice....lol! The motors are very good.
$350.....depends on car. I will have a Feigao 540-xxS can and U-Force 75 at that price. That should run most anything 1/10 scale.
Wow
I think I'll get a second BL car going !
That's quite a value for this combo...

German companies are on vacation and my distributor was closed last week as well. They should ship this week. If you didn't get on the list, you are probably in for a wait as most, if not all of the first ones, are spoken for. Better get in line!
