"Best" is a difficult word. I only have the Novak, and I like it a lot. I don't drive touring cars but the Novak really seems like a good fit for, say, a TC3. With 600 dollars you could buy a much faster system than the Novak, but it would not necessarily be a very good match for the car. I find that the Novak is plenty fast and lots of fun, plus it's very easy to install. As for other systems, I'll leave that to the experts. :)

Hacker B50 6s or 7s or C40 7s would probably do quite well in the TC3. Those motors run anywhere from 160-200 bucks. And for the micro...go MAMBA! starluckrc.com sells em for a decent price...:D Plus Starluckrc is the owner...so you can always talk to him on here. Very cool IMO.

i should also mention that im looking for something that will either keep up with or beat a nitro onroad car. not like a serpent or anything high performance like that. the track im gonna be racing on is gonna be quite large, its pretty straight in some parts but there are a couple technical sections.

The issue will probably be speed on the wide-open sections. Any BL, Novak included, should have enough power to beat nitros in acceleration through the tight sections. It's just a matter of how much speed the BL can put out to keep the nitros from catching up in the open sections.

the track is being redone and now its a lot of tight sections but it still has a 150' staright.

My novak in a Yok SD kills a 2 speed NTC3 in accelleration... Keeps up with the car pretty well also... Granted it's a stock AE engine... I haven't tried against my NTC3 with a Rossi or JP S3 Yet, I don't trust my neighbor to drive MY cars... I'm going to be in the market for another brushless soon... With the looks of brushless and the LiPo's I think I'm going to get rid of my nitro's...
