I thought the PF-5 came with the motor and wheels. Why did you use a GWS motor and wheels? What's the all up weight with this combination?
Just curious....
Happy flying!

It comes with Peck wheels, no motor. I think bigger wheels look better, and roll over bumps in the road better. No real reason for using the GWS motor, other than it seemed a more natural choice for a rugged foam/carbon airplane. A $18 motor with a $3 prop that can take a direct hit without harm. AUW=5.79 oz.

It flys very well. It has a good climb rate, and is very responsive to controls. I can't comment on slow flight performance, as all flights so far have been in a light breeze, at full power.
