My future plans are to buy a Seaducer SD3 90/100 hull, CMB 1.00, and Airtronics MX3S Radio System.
I was wondering what hardware do you recommend for racing?
Also, how do you make molds? Also, how do you "put on" a gelcoat to a hull?
Thanks,
Todd

All the way get the Seaducer hardware and spend the extra to have then install it!! I promise you will be better off. It is not like you will learn a great deal by doing it yourself or the satisfaction will be more if you do it. Trust me let the pros do it with their hardware and you will be so much happier. It is worth the extra $$ trust me.

Well I am about 15minutes from Seaducer so that wouldn't be a problem. What is a reputable Performance Prop Shop?

Mark Shouland at Props 4 U. He does all of my prop work and it is phenominal! You can send him a raw one and he will prep it to your boat or just s/b. Or gust give him a call (or e-mail) and get a awesome blade in your mail box that week. www.props4u.com
Andy Brown does not do custom props any more and that is fine because Mark really took up the slack. Tell him WaterCadet sent you ;) Every prop I have gotten from him I just threw on and it ran right and FAST.

The guys at B H Hanson recommend Bob Austin at Propworks. They say he is a wizard when it comes to selecting props, as well as finishing them. If you are interested, PM me and I'll give you his number. I don't like to give out numbers in an open forum due to the unsavory types who look for that information for personnal gain.

Talk to Jerry Crowther at Seaducer, he does some props also. I've had Mark Sholand do up a prop for me, and yes, he does do nice work. He does have most major brands in stock.
For info on how to make a mold and a boat, go to www.fiberglast.com . It's not an easy process, hulls shrink as they cure which can result in some warpage. Jerry got it figured out.

Thanks for the help guys. It says to make the mold from Fiberglass, but If I make the boat from fiberglass wont the mold stick to the product?
