Since everyone is thinking about building a v-twin engine for this event why not take something smaller. A 45cc scootor engine with transmission and bent drive to a three wheeled chassis. The bult drive would drive the rear wheel and a servo would drive the throtal lingcage have the front 2 wheels move with some kid of power (dont know what) Have slicks put on some big rims and everything tuned. You dont need brakes, because you just go around the track and wait for it to slow down sine it is an oval track. Then designs a body out of cla and have it molded and there you go a custom scootor. If anyone uses this idea please e-mail me at racinwireless04@aol.com or if andone tapes this event please e-mail me at that address. :)
i didnt mean to post twice
If you don't have good range you will need breaks. Is that sapost to be belt dive?

yes and i would have two remotes for two people at either end of the track with the same crystals
Dont think your allowed, Im pretty sure that you have do dive it from the "1" main tower at the first straightaway.

oo it was just an idea but yo could always through in a disk brake conected to a servo
too each his own. I plan on running a 3 speed mini drag racer type thing im designing on auto cad. I want to use a .60 if it will fit in my design. Gearing, first gear will be realy tall second will be average and third will be wide.

Have you ever seen what happens when you have two transmitters on at the same time on the same freq? That'd be exciting. You won't need brakes, you'll need a sack. :D

I don't think you would be able get the timing down. Your best bet would be to boost your existing radio transmission, although you'd blow everyone else out.
You could put 2 light gates on the track which automatically switch from one transmitter to the next a the car passes through! Maybe they could even have the race at Indy that way, cause you wouldn't need to see the whole track!
Guess this post fits more in the one 'stupid ideas thread' that was blocked...
