not sure what wrong

Hi i have a electric stampede, duratrak blast speed control, Futaba ms t2ph controler and brand new Team Orion Orbital 2R Mach Mod 14x3 motor dnyamite mega 1 charger( not a peak ) 2 dynamite 1500 mah nicd packs one is 2 years old and the other is 1 and a half i all so just got a a epic 1500 mah nicd pack (about 2 weeks old if that)thats what i have my question is im only getin a min of run time . I just found out my speed control can only handle a 27 turn motor . im wonderin if my charger is not fully charger my packs cuz they all act the same way. when i hock up my pack the trickle light does not come on i have to mess with the wire to have the light come on and after my packs are done quick chargerin the tirckle light does not come on some times and those packs seam to be dead but i should be getin more then a min of run time or is my speed control not able to keep up with my motor not sure how to explain what goin on. spur gear 71 pinon 19 im goin to be orderin a Tamiya Nissan 350Z Racing Kit and a epic 3000 mah pack i really hope that with the stock motor everything will be fine its just the part about messin with the wire makes me think theres something up but the packs do get a good charge they feel kinda hot not to hot just like they got a good charge and i put it in my truck and it runs fast for 30 secs last 30-45 secs is like drivin a walmart toy truck any help would be cool

Well, it's not easy to fully understand everything you're asking(some punctuation would be very helpful), but from what I could gather, I'd say your ESC is shutting down on you because of the motor you're trying to use. That's pretty typical of most modern ESC's, if they have too much current going through them they'll shut themselves down rather than have the FET's(that's Field Effect Transistors) blow up. So if I were you I'd either get a milder motor, or buy a better speed control.

Thanks so much sorry for the lack of punctuations . I have been up the past few nights im kinda out of it tryin to figure out whats wrong . The part about my charger when i hock up a pack should the trickle light come on? I have to mess with the wire from my charger and pack so that the green light comes on should this be goin on?

Maybe you have a bad connection or a frayed wire. I had a similar problem. My esc would shut down in the middle of the run. I took my battery apart and found a solder joint was broken off.
