best esc for a...?

i was curious what you would recamend for an esc for an old rc 10, what would be a nice cheap but good one? thanks also what kind of rims and tires would you recamed for road use?

An LRP runner, or F1 Reverse would be pretty good. The new Novak XRS or a cheap MTronics would be good as well. Futaba's are great as well, and I believe they're some of the cheapest.

As for wheels, good luck finding them.....:D

I love my Futaba MC230CR.

For tires, Pro-Line's Road Rage seem to be the standard for buggy tires (Because I can't think of anybody else that makes any). You'll need 2.2" wheels for them, but you should be able to find those for an RC10 no problem. If you want a dual-surface tire, get some Pro-Line buggy Dirt Hawgs.

Front wheels are easy, cause you just get different bearings to fit the axles, but you're gonna need to find 1/4" axle rear wheels, which might be tough.

Ok i myself had fully restored an TQ10 some time ago , thats an rc 10 but the nicer version. You can buy all your parts on e bay from tires and rims brand new to the esc. Far as esc goes. I know futaba makes an older esc that has a fuse that plugs rite into its face. Great esc i have 2 that i still use . If your motors to hot or something goes wrong the fuse goes not your esc . Its an mc210cb good luck

You still may be able to find some aftermarket rims (2.1 size) to fit the RC10, you may find them at Stormer Hobbies under their Close Out and Inventory Reduction section I got a couple sets front & rear suspension arms and some other items for my RC10 including the original tires and rims. I also use Advanced alum wheels (1.9) and adaptor hubs and were able to get some Duratrax Street Paw, Street Trac tires in 1.9 size from Tower. some hobby shops still may have some RC10 items.

Hey toxin I've got a set of pro line 2634-00 rims that say they fit rear RC10B2 & B3.

Go to tower hobbies and put in 2634. If they fit yours I will charge you shipping and that's it, you can have them. Should be like $1.75 to ship them.
