Hello,
I need some help. Can anybody to explain what is better?

Higher or lower value of voltage is better?

Run-in is awesome. You hook up your motor to it so you can break in the brushes, or more common probably is runningb a slave motor on a lathe. The higher the voltage, the faster the motor will spin. So 4.8 volts would be like a 4 cell pack, thats what I run my lathe on.

Run in at 2-3 volts for around 200 sec.

All you want to do is seat the brushes and make sure the motor is working properly.

Higher voltage will cause much more arching & wear on the comm.
