My friend has a Dumas Miller Hydro and would like to hire somebody to assemble as a shelf/Display model. I can't as I'm not qualified but maybe somebody here knows of someone.
I need a "mock" Allison to put in a hydro as it is required. Saw a set of plans on a link but can't find them. HELP
Is a .32 new engine compairable to a 7.5 K&B as the Bud needs a new motor and I don't want to waste money.(old MRP double wing)
Still riping out the old one and want to get new one ordered
BTW only 6 boats showed up in St Clair for the races. Bud #2? the salt water one is here... :)

I can help you on the Allison plans Decoy. Newton Marine has plans for the Rolls Merlin, maybe the Griffon, and the Allison. You would have to know which version you would need, as there are the stock and the Turbocharged versions. Which boat is the Allison for

Only six boats? Besides the Budweiser and Oh Boy! Oberto, which other boats showed? I know the U-3 isn't there, as Ed Cooper Sr said before the season he wouldn't be at any Hydro Prop race. The "Salt Water" Budweiser is actually the T-6 hull. I thought it was T-3, till Dave told me they were just leaving the salt water scoop on the boat. Did they only bring one? I know T-5 was ready to go at Seafair here in Seattle. Let me know the results since the Hydro Prop webmaster resigned and no one has updated it in over a week.

By the way, why aren't you qualified to build a Dumas Miller kit  The qualifications are the same as building a dummy Allison. All you need is patience, a work area and enough crazyness to actually get down and build it. A few hand tools would be nice too :D

So, did you find a builder and the plans you were looking for?

Plans- yes I did but nobody brave enough for the boat job.
Did you see where Joe Little said NO BUD Next year.Guess Pro Boat will be out of business with their bombs. Good thing I got mine put away.BTW it's IMPBA that banned the Lobster and Canard boats and from what I hear now their going to go after the "double wings" next. Crap every boat I get they aren't legal for 2005. guess I'll just have to come out west where the big boys play

As they say on "The Price is Right", Come on Down!!!! My club has races just about every weekend. The other club runs almost as often. If you want to see some serious racing, we have it. BTW, here in the State of Washington, the Winston Lobster and Four Point Circus Circus are legal, as well as the two wing boats.
