JR radio w/hitec reciever & servos?

I have a JR XR2 radio I use with me XXXT. This radio has the capability of controlling two vehicles. Can I use this radio to control my Associated TC3 RTR? The TC3 has the Hitec Lynx radio system.

hitech crystals would not work with my JR radio so i dought that the reciver will work with the transmitter

It won't work because the radios use different signal shifts. Hitec does make receivers that work with JR transmitters. Hitec's new Rx with IPD will work with all FM radios regardless of shift.

thats funny cause i used my XR2i with the Hitec reciever, just made sure that i ran the same crystals, infact it was with a TC3 RTR. IT does work.
Im guessing that your XXXT was a RTR on an AM frequency? if so, i know for sure that it is compatable with that Hitec AM reciever.

That is correct. I didn't read the post that well since I missed that he is using an AM radio and yes the radios are compatible in AM.
