I took my evander out for the first time since I installed a 5300 Lehner and a 7018/3BECWarriorCar. Made a jump and went behind a tree ,only to find it in a puddle of water. I unhooked the batteries, wiped the truck down, and took a blow dryer to the esc. The truck did run again ,but when I give it full throttle and truck doesn't run at a consant speed (fast, then slow, then fast again).Someone told me this was called clogging and to put a seperate receiver pack on the truck. I did that and it helped but didn't cure my trucks condition. :o Any suggestions?

Sounds like a radio problem, try another radio or old brushed setup to see if it still messes up.

You may have damaged the ESC. Let it air dry for at least 2 days. If it doesn't work...you may need a new one.

It was doing the throttle thing before I got it wet. It just got worst, but it's gotten back to where it was in the begining ,now that it's dry. I don't think that is my esc is the problem (as far as getting a new one)I hope not anyway  $200

the current warrior 70 programming has a voltage cut off of 7.2 volts. you must be running cheap cells, when you juice it, voltage drops and amps go up. if the voltage drops to0 far the esc turns off and waits for the voltage to return. Get good cells or add a 7th cell, I use sanyo 2400, is about the only thing I have ran with less voltage drop. but I have not tested 3300s yet, nicads tend to have les voltage drop, so try those if you got them first

I'm running 7 - 3300 sub c cells. They are cheap, but the power doesn't cut off it just gets weak and then "surges"

Try using a receiver pack if you haven't already. Sounds like it's just some cogging (motor turns on and off in weird sparatic spurts). Receiver packs usually help clear that up.
