Hi all

I'm new in this forum and I got a lot of BL info here , Anyone know what
difference between Lehner 1920 series and 1920 Hi-Amp Series ? :)
Besides is uForce 75 can handle with 1920/5 Hi-amp ?

Thanks very much !!.

I do not have an answer to your question - but I am curious on what RC are you putting it in?

I believe the 1920 "hi-amp" is the low wind version of the 1920. I think it is the 5 wind ( equivalent to 6275 Kv ).

We call it a "hot" motor, like a low turn brushed.

This type of very low wind motor will draw a lot of Amp and that is the reason why it is called Hi-Amp.

Now, for your second question, you won't really have a clear answer until you try it ! Only will you have guess from our past experience, but that's about it.

You first need to tell us on how many cells you plan to use this motor, in which car ( weight ) and with what kind of gearing.

I can guess if your car is not too heavy, if you use a low FDR ( final drive ratio ) and if you use it under 12 cells it might certainly work.

On the contrary, if you want to put it in a heavy car, geared to the moon for insane top speed and with only 6 cells, I can guarantee a nice BBQ party.

Good luck

Dear All :

Thanks very much for your response , My RC car is XRAY T1 FK 1/10 EP and I want to change my system into Brushless , my friend own hacker master car comp. C40-6S and 8S , it seem high RPM but less touque with 6 Ni-Mh cells. So I'm looking for higher torque BL motor with Kv more 5000rpm and found LMT 1920/5 is a good choice , I got message from german BBS and they said 1920/5 was discontinued and the new version is 1920 Hi-amp series , I have no idea what difference between these 2 series ?
I like uForce 75 for it can be programming with PC and size seems a little smaller than hacker ESC but not sure it can handle with LMT 1920 Hi-amp series with 6cells Ni-Mh or Ni-cd ?

Hi,
I`ve been running the 1920/5t in my xxx-s with a U-force 75, on 7.2V, and it does thermal a bit when pushed.. The motor also draws a lot of amps, so I actually ended up using my old basic 4200 instead :) The 1920/5t is quite ballistic though. When giving full throttle out of corners the car often looses traction(On sorex slicks with compound) and the topspeed is amazing. I also have a c406t, but the basic motor gives me much more run-time, and a bit more punch, although it lacks a bit on the topspeed.
So, if you want to buy, I am selling the 1920/5t motor, used less than 20 times.

Where does someone buy 1920/5t - BK does not have them. Anyone have a link?

Last time I looked BK had the 5 turn version (and a 4 I think!) when you look at a particular type of motor check on the second page - they have the really low turn versions at the end of the motor list.
