Im sure this has been covered before. What is the difference in use between a 2 blade prop and a 3 blade? Does it make a difference on the type of boat?

For one thing, a 3-blade prop helps to keep one blade in the water at all times on a surface drive boat. It's one of those things of what the boat likes. On some sizes you don't have any other choice.

Is there any performance gain from running a 3 blade prop on a 1/12 miss bud? I have the metal upgrade but it is still a 2 blade.
