View Full Version : Hitec 5645 Servo dead?

I thought I was gonna drive my truck ths afternoon. Unfortunately I was wrong... Whats wrong with my servo? The wires were melted on the the circuit board. Can I repair it?

you can try to solder the servo wires back where they belong but it almost certain that the servo circuit is damaged and it will only work few minutes.(that is what happened at least with my hitec servo)
from curiosity who this happened all in sudden from water binding ....?
Send in for repair.
ALL Hitec product carries a 2 year Warranty.

I sent mine in about a month ago, havent had a phone call or anything. I keep meaning to call them but keep forgetting. maybe I will make time for it tomorrow. also, it helps if you have your reciept. otherwise, flat rate is around 18.00 for a repair. good thing is, if they can't fix it, they will send you a new one.

Burnt out amplifier. A common problem. Send it to HiTec and if it's under warranty, they'll take care of you.
