No problem! Autographics sells the decals for R/C cars or I have my sister Laser cut whatever I need. She comes in handy for any font, size and color that I need. I was surprised at what logos that she can do. I had her do me a big Airtronics decal and she had others like Futaba and Picco in her files.
Hey ron, do you think I could have her make some for me and you could ship them. I'm willing to pay shipping. They wouldn't have to be anything fancy, just something big enough to barly fit on the side of my hammer. Maybe even some little ones that just say coke for the cockpits. Tell me if she can. They would have to be like the real letter look though.

I hope it's legal to use logos, as my 1999 Miss Madison must have at least 30 on it

The program that she has does the logos exactly like whatever company they are made for. She can make them in any size and color that you need. Contact her at Krafer665@aol.com for sizes and prices. She does things cheaply. Mention my name so that she knows what you're talking about. If you need anything else, she has over 250 fonts alone on disc or can download just about any that she doesn't have. www.1001fonts.com has a lot of them that can be done.
Let's say that you are for instance a Futaba freak and can't get enough Futaba stuff. She can do hats, T-shirts, mouse pads, license plates, coffee mugs, key fobs, trophies, dog collars and a ton of otherwise unobtainable Futaba goodies.
Hey ron, I emailed your sister and the mail got sent back to me.
I need your help guys. I decided not to do the coca cola. Too popular. I want to do something original. Does anyone have any ideas of a good paint skeem for a beginner? If you can, post pics of some of your ideas. Any help would be great!!!!!!!!

Copyright is a form of protection provided to the authors of "original works of authorship" including literary, dramatic, musical, artistic, and certain other intellectual works, both published and unpublished. What your talking about is a Trademark (TM) A trademark is a word, name, symbol or device which is used in trade with goods to indicate the source of the goods and to distinguish them from the goods of others. The purpose of a trademark is to protect words, phrases and logos used in federally regulated commerce to identify the source of goods and/or services.
It's only illegal if your selling them, so unless your going to mass produce a line of boats and slap coca-cola on it, or any other logo or brand name and then sell them, you have nothing to worry about.
I was thinking about painting my hammer black. I would also put red orange stripe things on it. What do you guys think. The red I have is the color of the corvetes. Do you think it would be a cool color skeme

A Black Boat Could Really Be Hard To See On The Water!

I agree. This is why I went with the yellow hammer.
Lime green would be different and highly visible. Flourescent orange also.

Black would be cool, I've done 2 of them like that but have offset the black with very bright colors. I had my sister Laser cut some very large lettering for mine to make it more visible on the water. It's surprising how many colors can blend in with the water, especially at races, even Red boats can be hard to see in the right light conditions.
