im gettin a duratrax evader pro st soon and wanted to put in the best electronics. would the quantam competition 2 be my best bet for an ESC? a JR metal-geared servo for a servo? Novak xxl for a receiver? I have motor and batteries taken care of.

There are lots of good servos out there. I use a JR Z590 (or maybe Z590M?) in my Stampede. It's not a top of the line servo, but it's tough and pretty powerful for $45.
