need help very fast plz

I'm switching to deans connectors and i switched it on the battery pack now i ran into a problem....both of the wires (plus and minus) of my charger are black so i dont noe where plus or minus is.....i got the thing that measures batteries and resistance but i dont noe any of the electric terms so i dont noe wut to use and my dad is mad at me cause i dont noe this and he wont tell me until i learn for my self :confused: but i got a race tomorow and i cant find anything on google or anywhere else...plz help

Look at both of the leads - are they 100% identical, or does one of the wires have a distinguishing feature (such as painted works, lines, or a texture)? If the 2 wires have ANY difference, simply take the old plug you cut off, match it up with the wires, plug it into your OLD batt pack, and determine which is pos and which is neg.
