anyone know where i can find a write up on the basics? I'm trying to get my tt-o1 up and running but have no idea what battery to get, how batteries, esc's, etc interact.

Hi, I havent seen a write up in a while on how these work, but your selection of the electronics really depends on what you do with your car. If you plan on just driving it around the house, you can easily get away with lower end ESC's (sport models w/ 15 turn limit), batteries (1400-2000 Mah), and stock servos . If you plan on racing, I will tell you from experience buy the best you can afford. I would invest in a real good ESC like a Novak GT7 or equivalent, buy a couple good 3000+ 6 cell battery packs and you'll be on your way.
