Trinity and Orion made discharge trays most were discontinued with equalizing tray - and some of those Trinity Real Time 2 were discontinued with the introduction of the newer versions of equalizing trays. The difference not much both discharge cells but equalizing trays can discharge each cell individally - standard or diode type discharge doesn't always discharge each cell to the same level - most took 3-4 hours. The best equalizing tray right now is the Integy Octane 2, or Pro Match Smart Tray2 or get a Trinity Real Time 2 if you can if you see one.

The only one to get right now is the Novak tray. It's the only one that has a settable cutoff voltage per cell. Everything else, you have to guess with it. With the Novak, you set .9,.8 volts per cell, whatever, and you walk away. Trinity and integy take the cells to .0, not good for nimh cells, Promatch tells you not to leave nimh in their smart tray for longer than 20 minutes. You decide.
